NBA 2K23 Guide: The Best Playmaking Badges

Earlier, we discussed the best shooting badges in NBA 2K23 and recommended the shooting badges from Tier 1 to Tier 3. Today we take a look at the playmaking badge in NBA 2K23. In the past, the organization badge was often underestimated by players. Whether dribbling or passing, the playmaking badge is an important part of offense and defense. Here, we'll give players the best playmaking badges in NBA 2K23.

In NBA 2K23, the organization is very broad, including dribbling, movement, passing, and control. And the lack of organization will greatly reduce your offensive and defensive capabilities. So, keep in mind these best playmaking badges below to enhance your play style and experience.

Tier 1: The Playmaking Badges

Quick First Step This is necessary for any player with the ball in hand as it allows you to move eagerly with the ball. It should be maxed out for most players, except for bigs.
Bullet Passer The Bullet Passer is another must-have tool for most players to help you fight the crazy steal animations in this year's game. Every player should have it, and the ball handler should consider maximizing it.
Handles for Days This badge needs to be maximized for ball handlers. Otherwise, you'll only be able to do a few dribbles. It doesn't have to be the ball handler, but it's the most important dribble badge.
Quick Chain Another necessary badge for dribbling builds, as it will help you transition quickly between dribbling moves.

Tier 2: The Playmaking Badges

Glue Hands Many people scoff at this badge, but playing MyTeam shows that this badge will help you get great catch animations before you shoot.
Hyperdrive This badge is better for attacking the rim, but Hyperdrive can help you speed up your dribbling moves to fool defenders. We recommend it for dribbling, but not before Quick Chain.
Tight Handles Another dribble badge a ball handler needs, as Tight Handles will stun your defenders and allow you to get open shots in the paint or behind the 3-point line.
Unpluckable Most players need at least one humble badge of Bronze. While we question its higher-level capabilities, it's bound to place it at an A-level.

Tier 3: The Playmaking Badges

Dimer The Dimer is one of the most powerful badges in the game, but it's only really needed if you have lower-rated shooters on your team. Other badges are necessary, but Dimer can be super powerful under the right circumstances.
Space Creator A great badge combined with Damian Lillard's step-back dribble, but the step-back is far from the best dribble move.
Needle Threader A Rec badge can be used against Interceptors, but it's best to use your extra badge points on Bronze or Silver. It's not the OP, but it helps you avoid silly stealing animations every time.
Bail Out Another badge most players should have on their bronze medals is to get rid of bad shots. Not worth having higher levels, but even Bronze Bail Out will save you countless times.

Tier 4: The Playmaking Badges

Floor General Like Dimer, Floor General can help in the right circumstances. However, it's no more powerful than any other badge and should be reserved for those with many in-game badge points.
Ankle Breaker This emblem can be useful if you're chasing an ankle buster, but it has too few activations to dedicate a lot of emblem points to it. Tight Handles and Space Creator usually do more to destroy your defenders.
Stop & Go

Some claim this badge is OP, but we didn't notice much of a speed boost for quick and other stops.

Downhill

Downhill is really of limited use for most builds, given the way the OP is chasing blocks, and the speed remains unbalanced. However, it can be helpful in some cases, but we don't recommend it.

Tier 5: The Playmaking Badges

Post Playmaker Post Playmaker can work if you're parodying Nikola Jokic's game in 2K22, but since this is so rare, this badge should be avoided as much as possible.
Triple Threat Juke We haven't seen results consistent with this badge, and Triple Threat is still not a good move for anyone but a computer, so we'll stay away from this badge.
Break Starter

Full-court passing is still easy without this badge, so while it might help on the backboard for a bronze-level big man, it's far from necessary.

Express delivery

How hard are the lobs this year? Any badges involving them lose a lot of value. That means express mail that helps throw lobs doesn't see much use outside players who know how to throw and catch.
